Our Founder
Simple Taxes online tax services was founded by Sarah, our lead qualified accountant. During the pandemic, Sarah started to see our attitude towards being employed in the workplace drastically change. Many people experienced the benefit and freedom of leaving behind the traditional office working hours. This prompted many to look towards self-employment or other ventures, to make additional income.
Sarah understands that when taking the leap into self-employment, taxes can be confusing and frightening for most. After working in practice for almost 20 years, there’s not much Sarah hasn’t come across when it comes to tax returns, and accounting for individuals. Sarah wanted to create an efficient, reliable and affordable solution for individuals, to help them with their taxes. She wanted to be able to offer the professional assistance of a qualified accountant, without the hefty (and sometimes unpredictable) price tag. Replacing the typical accountant stereotype with a fun and friendly image for her brand – Simple Taxes was born
